The official announcement of a new flagship from Samsung: Galaxy Alpha – launching next month!
On yesterday (13.08.2021) officially unveiled the latest model from Samsung’s stable – Samsung Galaxy Alpha. The phone is made of a metal casing, which is becoming increasingly popular. This is another model with which Samsung seems to compete with the iPhone, its biggest competitor.
Visual side of the phone should appeal to the vast majority of users. The phone is sizable, but without creating a clumsy impression. The slim design, rounded edges and aluminum casing create the impression of an aesthetically pleasing, yet durable hardware.
In addition, the Alpha is the “slimmest” smartphone among all Galaxy models.
As for the parameters of the phone, These should satisfy picky eaters, although they are not without downsides. Samsung Galaxy Alpha has 4.7-inch HD Super AMOLED screen. Inside the smartphone hides as much as an octa-core processor 1.8GHz (or quad-core processor 2.5GHz).
Plus 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The smartphone is equipped with a 12MP rear camera and a front camera of 2.1MP. In addition, of course, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and LTE.
The whole thing runs on the latest Android 4.4.4 KitKat.
The Alpha also boasts all kinds of technological improvements and innovations. The phone is equipped with a special Ultra-Power Saving Mode for maximum power saving. There’s also a fingerprint reader, a heart rate monitor, a special Private Mode and the ability to connect with Samsung’s wearables, such as the Samsung Gear Fit, Gear Live and Gear 2.
By drawbacks of the devices credit the lack of an additional microSD card slot, which will prevent expansion of the phone’s memory, and the phone itself does not have a variant with 64GB of internal memory. Users are thus doomed to 32GB of memory. The battery also does not impress – its capacity is 1860 mAh, which may be a bit too small for such equipment.
