another mentioned that some terrorists could make a microphone, because they were educated. yes, idiot, that is true. but not, moron, it does not contradict what miller said. Miller said that those technical achievements he listed were products of our SOCIETY. he wasn’t talking in individual terms. He was talking about them as being inventions of our society. Sure, now that they have been invented there are going to be intelligent individuals in any country who could COPY their designs or maybe, maybe, even slightly improve them. YES, bonehead, yes there are examples of smart people even in the most squalid shitholes. EVEN in the middle east. but, he was talking about the SOCIETY as a whole. if you see a video of them torturing someone in public, ripping off some white person’s arms who they captured, the streets are filled with people CHEERING. that does not happen IN OUR SOCIETY. sure we would have some individuals who would cheer that. that will happen in any country, with any action. There are neonazis or the equivalent in just about any country. The point is, they are major part of the population OVER THERE. NOT HERE.

sure they could have a couple guys make a microphone. but their countries did not invent them. and never would have. the things they have over there are things they took from us. we designed them, they just use them.

their culture does not allow for people to design new things or ideas, because they are suppressed by their rulers. They are not allowed to THINK, to ever be ABLE to design anything new.

and on the topic of individuals, the individuals who ARE educated over there, who COULD understand the inner workings of a microphone, or come over HERE to learn how to fly a jet, those people are a privileged FEW. Their families were most likely RICH. They probably had ties to government authorities and therefore did not have to worry about being raped, gassed, tortured, or whatever because they were IN with the government. Either that, or they came from a wealthy family in a more stable middle east country like Saudi Arabia, then funneled into the more chaotic countries, making contacts with the corrupt authorities there, to start terrorist camps.

its the kind of dynamic that liberals are always bitching about, but in the extreme. liberals bitch about the gap between the wealthy and the poor. but that gap is so much more extreme over there. over there the poor get raped by the rich. or dragged off into the night by the rich for something they said. the funny thing is that when america tries to bring some kind of order to them so that shit doesn’t happen, liberals bitch about THAT. turns out they don’t ACTUALLY give a shit about the suffering masses, at least not if they are muslims….

This is a great argument to have in a debate because its hard for them to put any logic behind it. but turn it around and say well hypothetically just assume there is no god. well if you ask the same question and put in the answer “There is no god, so he can’t heal them” the question now makes since and has a valid answer.

In the end this is a debate that will never end. Science can not give enough evidence to say there is no god and religion can not get enough to say there is one. So its always in the end a draw.
