A SAD DAY FOR ME
No, I am not talking about the election today, nor even the firing of the Coach at UT (Tennessee).
I have enjoyed so much the opportunity that was afforded me by the nice ladies at Hangrightpolitics. Over the years, I have made many good friends here and both like and respect the commenters here, but I have made a decision not to host anymore here (or anywhere else).
Most of the older commenters know that I have diabetes. One of the results of this is that I cannot blog continously as I am accustomed to doing, because of my eyes. Also, I am burnt out. I have been doing this for many years and have basically used all my ideas up.
I wanted to do this today so that no one will think that this is sour grapes because of the elections today. I still think McCain will be our President tomorrow.
We have fought the good fight and I am proud of my association with all you good folks.
Thank you all for being my friend. I am not going away totally. I will still comment occasionally, but not near as much as I have in the past.
May God bless you all as he has me.

This country has a grand history……it has been a beacon of freedom that attracted the mistreated throughout the world. We also spent many years fighting for freedom throughout the globe only to be vilified for it. That history is over. It is now just another banana republic Socialist Godless nation that is populated by mindless ants waiting for their next carnal delight. That current delight is Barack ‘gimme their money’ Obama. This is not my country, Barack is not my president, I am a resident alien hoping for individual God-given freedom.
Aristotle was right, the morons would ruin democracy. God Bless America, we need it now, more than ever.

Okay, okay, maybe that was a little too emotional. Maybe I will wait until they actually destroy small businesses by tying the minimum wage to inflation with cola adjustments and creating a permanent lower class as they have in Western Europe which they worship. And of course we will start importing as many members of the new welfare state as we can. I am probably premature in thinking this is Zimbabwe II, huh?
But thank God we will END global warming which never existed! And we can do that by never drilling for oil again, and permanently banning coal and nuclear power.
Tax the Productive!!!! But dont tax Hollywood or athletes…that was the Bill Clinton credo.
Yeah, my first post was too emotional, please excuse me. I guess I’ll just go read Atlas Shrugged and the Bible.

When you tried to leave before I implored you to stay……I will do the same this time…..turn that font up on the computer so it will be easier on you….do what ever you have to keep up the fight…………Not to get all emotional on you or anything but I actually like you and respect the values that you stand for…..
