Not Afraid
Obama to go negative, as if he hasn’t already a number of times in a number of different ways. John McCain screwed up but unlike “TheOne” he’s not afraid to face his screw ups. He did so publicly. There is nothing new in “The Keating 5.”
But then, Obama doesn’t screw up, does he? He calls them distractions. So distracting that he spends an inordinate amount of time shutting people up.

So, when can we expect Obama to “come clean” on his judgment, his actions, and those of his biggest supporters? Or will he continue to use the tired phrase that they are merely distractions? Or is it the fact that he and his supporters have to spend so much time shutting people up the distraction?
Truthfully, I think both are fair game but John McCain has been open about his past associations whereas Obama does everything within his power to hide his. In the past associations and questionable character realm of politics, Obama has a lot more to answer for. I won’t be holding my breath given the way these issues have been addressed to date.

Can you imagine this world if we didn’t have the blogosphere and alternative media?
This guy is gettting away with the biggest scam in the history of our country - Elmer Gantry for president - and our media is selling the country down the river.

It is up to McCain to do it. If he does, he will win the election. If not, he won’t.
He is going to have to do what Sara is doing, talk directly to the American People and bypass the sorry news media.

He has been today while Sarah Palin is attacking from another side. Obama opened the door by preempting McCain on past associations. If a twenty year old scandal is indicative of McCain in spite of the fact that he was cleared, how much worse is it going to be for Obama since he has lied about some of his associations and disclaimed others as “that’s not the person I knew…”?
He certainly won’t be able to obfuscate by calling them distractions anymore, will he? If it’s fair game for McCain, it’s fair game for him.
