Irony
Here:
A non-profit Internet rights group on Thursday filed a lawsuit against the George W. Bush administration for what it called the “massively illegal” surveillance of Americans’ emails and telephone calls without court-issued warrants.
I suppose they’d be fine with it if the government would stop surveillance on terrorism suspects and start publishing Sarah Palin’s emails.

Looks like the authorities have found their Palin e-mail hacker — and surprise, surprise, it’s the son opf a Democrat office-holder:

We’ll see if this pans out, but shut my mouth and color me unsurprised.

Right, because everyone who opposes the massive illegal surveillance of Americans’ e-mails each individually hacked Sarah Palin’s e-mail account and distributed it.
What you just made is a logical fallacy.

Yup, just updated the post with that info. Not much grumbling over here on the post,
, but I got a few over on HP. It’s fun watching them scramble and claim it wasn’t politically motivated.
Kathy, they justify it by “the end result justifies the means.” One rule for them and a totally different intolerant one for us. Besides, what they’re talking about is stupid. EFF often comes down on the wrong side, in spite of their claims of electronic freedom.

Helen, have you or anyone you know suffered in some way from the “massively illegal” surveillance of Americans’ emails and telephone calls…?”
Or have you been sipping too long at the Koolaid of Gullibility?

Helen. You have just won the pin-head of the day award.
Congrats. Thanks for playing.

Have you noticed how many of them don’t even come back to respond to anything? They just drop their nastiness, or stupid comments, never to be seen again.
But I’d really like an answer to those questions,

Helen says:
No – what you made is a logical fallacy – or in the words of normal people – an illogical assertion. I’m referring to the people who filed a lawsuit against an invasion of privacy on the same day some democrats (who have gone berserk over this issue) are gleefully looking at the same invasion of privacy, but since it’s Gov. Palin’s privacy it doesn’t matter.
It’s so lovely to see such a blatant double standard, meanwhile, there’s the weak AP defense (since they are abetting the crime by stonewalling) that she was doing gov’t business through a private email. Ha. Care to look at ANY gov’t official’s email? Good grief you people are shallow and incapable of consistent thought.
Meanwhile, Governor Palin is running for VP, and terrorists, the would be perpetrators of mass murder being investigated by the government, intend us harm.
Equating the two is your error. Not mine. I think one is rational protection and the other is criminal invasion of privacy. I’d rather be on the American side of this issue.

Mediacrats are nasty people. But, like I said before, they are the same bunch who were nasty in the 60’s. They have gotten old, but have not grown up at all. The hated us then, they hate us now.

The difference now, RP, is we are through putting up with it. I’m done. Anybody gets in my face better be prepared to crawl under a nearby rock. Trespassers will be shot, survivors will be shot again.

There is very little likelyhood there will be any survivor’s

I’m watching Sarah Palin on Hannity. She says more in one sentence than Obama can say in a paragraph and Biden can say in 45 minutes.
She will do fine in debates.
It is easy to be straightforward when one is honest. That is the difference between republicans and democrats.

“I suppose they’d be fine with it if the government would stop surveillance on terrorism suspects…”
Wait, wasn’t that the point of it anyway, to allow terrorists to plot in peace. Sure the left will bang on about ordinary American’s rights to privacy, but look elsewhere in the world where the left are in charge and they fail their own standards. Take Britain for example, last i checked they have the most CCTVs per people/area in the world. Down here it’s not that much better, yesterday i was on a bus and after a little while i saw myself on the display, like everyone else, there were cameras dotted through out the bus. Just the other day i heard that they were going to replace train guards with cameras.
“But, like I said before, they are the same bunch who were nasty in the 60’s. They have gotten old, but have not grown up at all.”
Indeed RP, you can’t grow out of hate, you have to first reject it and then let go of it.
