yup and now they’re going after earmarks, disingenously. The article in the WSJ this morning points to an amount for Obama for one year, then uses an amount for Palin over two years making it look exhorbitant in comparison while when you half it over for the two years, it’s still higher but not so high as to be all that questionable. Plus the fact that she is a sitting governor devoted to her state and Obama has been campaigning for 19 months and still found time to send over 300 million dollars worth of earmarks back to Illinois nor does it add in what the other Senator from IL may have tacked on to that amount.
I’ve already pointed out before that Palin has never said she’s totally against earmarks and while she still garnered quite a few of them while governor she had reduced quite a few of them, too… at least research so far indicates that.

I think, as smart as the Democrats pretend to be and savvy with the latest technology, they sometimes forget that it’s easy to get information when it’s necessary to counter something that’s been said.
