It might turn out to be more than a bounce, Kathy. It might actually indicate a trend. McCain wasn’t that far off from Obama’s numbers before and a lot of people were holding off their decisions. I’m not saying Palin didn’t help because she did… a lot. She helped people make the decision because he created the reform ticket that he has been preaching these many months while Obama belied his own mantra of CHANGE with his pick.
There’s a whisper of a rumor that Obama is thinking about getting rid of Biden and choosing someone else. Just a rumor. I believe it’s highly unlikely. Change like that when the “game” is set could make things worse than they are now for the Obama camp. It could give his CHANGE mantra a whole new meaning.

Right now how many Republicans are actually excited about our ticket? That answers the question. Two weeks ago we were preparing for a thumping and then along came Palin and we are all pumped. Now we need to get out and work for the ticket.
