First, before the media creates another major myth: President Bush did not call Obama an Appeaser. In fact, he mentioned no-one in particular, although he should have. Obama and the anti war left (democrat party) have painted themselves into the corner they cannot escape from.
There are too many speeches, writings and intimations made by Obama and the majority of democrats are too much to overcome.

So why the eruption by Obama and the democrats when there is really no way it can be refuted that they are, in fact, appeasers?

Answer: The Swift Boat operation against Kerry in 2004. The leftist media and democrats are still angry that Kerry did not respond quick enough to the attack of the Swiftboaters and that is the reason he was torpedoed (no pun intended) by them. Now they think they should erupt at anything quickly and kill the messenger.

But there is one major problem with their strategy. The Swiftboat Commanders for Truth were, in fact, telling the truth, and were trying to force Kerry into court so that all of his records could be exposed in court. Kerry could not respond to the attacks because he was on the untruthful side of the argument and could not afford to have his complete military record exposed. There is still a question about his initial discharge from the navy which has never been answered.

There is an old saying which says that the first person to raise up in a crowd usually gets his head sheared off, and that certainly applies to Obama’s and the democrat’s reaction to President Bush’s remarks to the Isreali Knesset.

By simply responding to the remark, Obama has reinforced the idea that he is an appeaser and reflects badly upon himself and will cost him dearly in the fall. The truth is, he is an appeaser and all he has done is prove it.
