Operation Chaos Is More About Rush Than GOP Victory

It’s a shame such a brilliant conservative mind has so much trouble with his ego. Don’t get me wrong, OC was a little bit entertaining at first. But, for me, it got old fairly quickly.

In all honesty, I hope it’s over. It is time to get serious about taking on the Dems and their destructive policies for this country.

What say you?

I agree. However, the problem is still McCain who is among the first to criticize conservatives’ fighting back.

    We’re all Mavericks, now.

I’ve been wondering about this since your first warning on this topic, Steve. It seems to me that Rush is using the same stick that McCain used on Rush to poke him back in the eye.

It falls under ‘brand protection’. If you were selling Bibles, you wouldn’t get Madonna to do it. That is akin to having McCain head the GOP.

McCain must learn the value of the following statement:

For I am their leader and I must follow them

He was at Wake Forest (my alma mater) this week with FDT, among others, talking about conservative judges. Hmmm. Perhaps a survey of the conservative blogosphere with its many voices all saying “McCain?????” might be leading the candidate of our party to actually act like a member of it. It might be a factor, who knows?

As to the wisdom of Rush’s CHAOS - I think your good old conservative conscience is ringing true - and my inner small voice is reminding me that ‘those who sow the wind reap the whirlwind.”

We’d better cut it out. Margaret Thatcher said that walking in the middle of the road meant you were most likely to be hit on both sides. We’ve got a lousy candidate, and they’ve got two. It’s the oddest case of one-downsmanship I’ve ever seen.

Yup. It’s time to tend to our own business, while we’ve still got one. If Rush wants to club McCain, let him use his own vote.

The Republicans challenge the Dems? Never going to happen. They haven’t shown any desire to do that on any issue other than the war.

You know…Rush is a political personality, that’s true. It’s also true that he’s an entertainer. But Operation Chaos??? we really have no idea whether it’s a reality or not. We don’t know if it has had any effect whatsoever. Actually, the beauty of it is that we don’t know, and they don’t know. In one respect, it has worked wonderfully…there’s a lot of information out there on Obama now that simply would not have come to light had he not encouraged Clinton to keep running. The MSM would not have reported the Wright information.
Now, whether that influences people one way or the other, I can’t say, but the MSM has _not_ been doing what it is supposed to be doing - and that’s investigating the candidates and telling us about them. In that respect, OC has been great. Maybe we should have had the same thing for McCain, though we probably know most of what there is to know about him…

  5. Jacob Stevens Says:

That was the whole point, to keep the focus off McCain and it has worked. Let the dems destroy one another and keep the Chaos alive. I would rather have Rush focus on those two losers than on McCain. We all know McCain in just another RINO on the national level who never was a conservative. Rush and the rest of us will all have to hold our nose to vote for him, but lets have fun with the dems until September.

  6. Stephanie Says:

It was more than that, Jacob, but I believe it has accomplished its mission for the most part.

I don’t think Operation Chaos has changed anything. And it has made Rush’s show excruciatingly boring over the last few months. Would Hillary have dropped out earlier? Are you kidding? Would Reverend Wright have still surfaced? Of course. He says there is no difference in the Dem candidates. Huh? Are the Clinton’s more dangerous in the White House than Barry? Please. Barry doesnt know how to use FBI files, the IRS and the Courts to ruin people’s lives and intimidate them. The Clintons do. The Clintons even seem to have the good luck to have problematic people turn up dead. Barry better take note of that!

I love Rush but this is his worst moment in all the years I have been listening to him. I am so hopeful that Barry is the nominee because I would never forgive my hero (Rush) for creating a scenario where that braying, bellowing cow would be doing daily soundbites as POTUS that I couldnt escape.

As I mentioned earlier McCain is a death-wish for conservatives, don’t vote for him.
God takes care of this country on a long-term basis.

I dunno if Steve will vote for McVain but otherwise I agree with him.
