McCainiacs Try To Rewrite History
But Hugh Hewitt won’t let them. This is a great article for those who are sketchy on the facts of McCain’s judicial betrayals. Please read it.
Mark Levin, brilliant legal mind, adds more here.
Fantastic post, Hugh. Bravo!

I haven’t forgotten and I’m bewildered why people think we should forget and take these pandering politicians at their words. You’d think I was from Missouri with the “they gotta show me first” but then here’s the way I look at it, trust, once broken is never fully whole again. John McCain has done that too many times to trust him now, no matter how many time he says he “got the message.”

The voters need to send John McCain another message “Go Home, Johnny”.
I hope the South Carolinians do that today.

It looks like John McCain will begin getting the big money now that he’s won South Carolina. Mike Huckabee, a possible running mate, did well too. This is the ticket that most likely will head the Republican Party in November.
Comments on Fred Thompson, at least on this forum, suggest he’s the favorite but he’s not going to get there no matter how hard you wish upon a star.
I’ve always felt that once the voters began separating the the chaff from the wheat during the primaries, John McCain would prevail. I still think that way in spite of all the negative comments I’ve read here.
The alternative? Hillary Clinton and the X factor Vice President cannot beat a solid, true American hero, John McCain and a real values vote-getter, Mike Huckabee. The evangelical vote and common sense Americans will stampede to this ticket in November.
The liberal base, already staggering f rom defeats in Congress, will fold because even the Democrats are not at all enthused with Hillary Clinton.

If McCain is on the ticket I either sit it out, or I vote for Obama. Haven’t decided which. Call it Brand Protection. It’s better to have a liberal dem in the WH than a liberal republican.
