Google Censors Global Warming Information: Google Killed the Feed to the Global Warming Swindle Movie
Google’s leftist agenda rears it’s ugly head. There is a tremendous buzz about the Channel 4 film about the GREAT GLOBAL WARMING SWINDLE - and I posted links to it here. Google saw fit to eliminate the feed on those links. The folks over at Red State did some work and found it here. Get your copy before they delete that too.
This is really scary stuff people. When Google is choosing what information you can get on a scientific subject based on their politics - that stinks.
Here’s some undisputed points for those who claim this movie is bunk.
-
There is no debate about the fact that CO2 lags behind temperature increase.
There is no debate that CO2 was rising during 1940-1970 when global cooling was occurring.
CO2 is not proven to cause global warming. Period. It’s a theory and a bad one at that.
That’s the centerpiece of the global warming campaign and the countervailing information must not be allowed to get out there. They want you to only hear one side. Why?
Because they are lying about anthropogenic Global Warming. It’s a swindle.
There will be attacks on the film. One has already been made on the comment thread here. But the marxists greens - or watermelons (green on the outside, red on the inside) will soon find out that even the internet has back alleys.
Google won’t have its way. They have just told us how important this movie is; by trying to stifle the discussion - they’ve just energized it.
It’s bad form for a search engine to modify internet access to accommodate a political agenda. We know what they are afraid of - but here’s some news - the truth about the Global Warming Machiavellian Fearmongers is out there on the web, and there is nothing Google can do about it. Thanks YouTube.

Kathy,
Thanks to you and Red State for emphasizing the importance of this film. It is one thing to disagree, but quite another to stifle debate.
Google is taking a dangerous turn here in political discourse in this country. It is what happens when you cannot win in the arena of ideas.

I need faster internet to watch YouTube. Where’s Al Gore when you need him?

Well, Google also seems to have censored a 20 minute video clip in French about the results of tests of feeding rats with OGM corn: it damaged their liver and kidneys. It could be seen for a week at http://video.google.fr/videoplay?docid=-8996055986353195886
But now you can see it at http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xxs1q_les-ogm-sontils-dangereux

Kathy - EXCELLENT post! Thanks for sounding the alarm on Google’s shenanigans.

I was going through the HRP’s Global Warming stack and re-read an excellent debate between Kathy and commenter Rob C (where’s he been anyway?).
You know what I came away with? Liberals will give the most ludicrous “statistics” to try to bolster their arguments. But they do it in such an authoritative way so as to not be challenged. And it doesn’t matter what the issue is, but Global Warming is their new bastion of authority. Unfortunately, for them, conservatives tend to be smarter and battle-tested.
Again, Kathy, EXCELLENT work. I’m glad you’re on our side.

[…] Update: Google video has killed the feed to “The Great Global Warming Swindle.” I don’t know why, but will try to find out. In the meantime, I found it on YouTube and linked to that…for the time being.  Google owns YouTube now, so who knows how long it will last there. (I found the information about Google killing the feed in a post by Kathy at Hang Right Politics.) It’s back up with a new Google video ID.
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-4520665474899458831
But does anyone know why the original one disappeared? Did Google provide any sort of message (i.e. copyright violation, policy violation), or did it just up and “poof”?
This is pretty interesting stuff. I managed to get a clean AVI copy of the thing on my hard drive this morning, but it’s a behemoth: 554MB.
It’s a great video.
