Hey, cut and run is what Dems do.

Talk about pathetic:

Nevada Dems Nix Fox Debate
The Nevada State Democratic Party is pulling out of a controversial presidential debate scheduled for Aug. 14 in Reno and co-hosted by Fox News, according to a letter released late Friday from state party chairman Tom Collins and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev).

Read the whole story at the link above. Looks like the lefty moonbats applied enough pressure to get the Dems to turn tail and run. It’s no wonder these guys are so weak on defense. Roger Ailes, chairman of the Fox News Channel, put it best:

This pressure must be resisted as it has been in the past. Any candidate for high office of either party who believes he can blacklist any news organization is making a terrible mistake about journalists. And any candidate of either party who cannot answer direct, simple, even tough questions from any journalist runs a real risk of losing the voters.

The public knows if a journalist’s question is unfair. They also know if a candidate is impeding freedom of speech and free press. If you are afraid of journalists, how will you face the real dangers in the world?”(emphasis added)

Great question, Mr. Ailes. One all Democrat candidates should be asked at every campaign event.

Could it be that the Dems are afraid of answering the tough questions that could be asked by an impartial news organization? They’ve been given a free pass by all the others.

They can run, COgirl, but they can’t hide. This seems more like blatant pandering to their moonbat base. And I hope it comes back to bite them in the butt.

I think they will find that most Americans are not as stupid as they think we are when it comes to electing a new president in 2008.
