Speak truth to power
Ugh. This verbal vomit is a popular piece of meaningless trite excrement that so-called “powerless” people use when attacking conservatives and Republicans.

You’re a chickenhawk!
Barf. Put aside the fact that a real chicken hawk is actually a bird of prey. Liberal twits use this idiotic catchphrase to shut down debate. “If you support the war but don’t go enlist right now, you’re a chickenhawk!” It’s often directed at Bush and Cheney (and Rumsfeld for some stupid reason) and so on. Pointing out that Clinton never served does no good. Pointing out that Bush served in the Texas Air National Guard only leads to long and fruitless debates over Rathergate. The best defense is a good offense. Ask said accuser when he’s heading to Iraq to be a human shield. If he doesn’t go, then he’s a “chickendove.”

We need bipartisanship
Yuck. This isn’t a liberal-only phrase, but coming from a liberal, it has a huge nastiness attached to it. You all know the drill: Bipartisanship means nothing more than conservatives compromising on principle and Republicans caving. Well, a pox on that. There are times to compromise, but there are many more times to lead. As el Rushbo is fond of saying, there is no section in the library dedicated to great American moderates.

Is America ready for a black/woman/Hispanic/purple president?
Pardon me while I hurl again. How do you “get ready” for this? No one’s ever explained that. If someone who was part black, part Hispanic, part Asian and all woman were to run for president next year, I’d consider her if for nothing more than getting this stupid “first” out of the way. I don’t give a rip about race or gender. I care about beliefs, politics and leadership qualities when it comes to choosing the president.

Christians hate science
BAM! Sorry, that was the sound of my fist hitting a wall. You may not have encountered this, but some religious people and hard-core believers in evolution propagate this utter lunacy of logic as if it is the most profound thing ever uttered. You see, their puerile minds cannot reconcile a brilliant scientist also being a Bible-believing Christian, because of their own hatred for Christianity. And since to them, Christianity is false/a joke/magic/a crutch for weak people, no one who takes science seriously can also take the Bible seriously. It short-circuits their Richard Dawkins wannabe brains, you see.

Republicans/conservatives are racist
AUGH! I cannot stand hearing or reading that piece of garbage. Liberals rattle that off as easily as breaking wind—and the effect is just as deadly. Is there any real proof to this? No. Liberals try to make the case that white supremacists abandoned the Democratic party in 1964 and that they account for the Republican “southern strategy” that helped bring victory to Nixon, Reagan and Papa Bush. But it’s horse hockey. They also claim that Republican and conservative opposition to affirmative action and welfare is racist, crime control is racist, opposition to hate crime laws is racist, blah, blah, blah. In other words, differences of opinion are racist. The belief that policies and programs keep people down and make them subservient to government handouts is racist. The belief that you have much better success prosecuting a perp for doing the dirty deed than for why he did the deed is racist. And on and on. You can’t win against such idiotic group-think.
