MORE FOLLIES FROM JOHN KERRY’S VISIT TO IRAQ.

You all may remember my post from the other day about how John Kerry’s welcome by the troops in Iraq would be like a skunk at a picnic.

Jules Crittenden has an article in the Boston Herald today which illustrates how stupid John Kerry is.

Some people seem to have an unerring instinct for the wrong side of history. You can rely on them, at critical moments, to abandon friends and accommodate evil, in the name of good.
Neville Chamberlain famously chose to talk with Adolph Hitler, and believed him when he agreed to peace in 1938. But Chamberlain was big enough a man to admit he was wrong in 1939, and to throw his support behind the winner when war broke out and he was politically beaten.
John Kerry has reversed that tragic historical formula. Politically beaten in 2004 in the midst of a war he supported but then rejected, he is now going to Syria to feel out a dictator’s mood for peace. He wants to hear what Bashir al-Assad’s thoughts are on Lebanon, Hezbollah and Iraq. The White House and State Department say this visit will only lend credibility to a meddling, unreliable dictator who routinely rejects U.S. proposals.

Read the whole thing, which includes the remarks about why Kerry is visiting Iraq: to recover from the political grave after his remarks about how only stupid people wind up in Iraq.

Gateway Pundit has another great post today on the subject. It is more tongue in cheek, but it is certainly true. I have it on good authority that several troops chose latrine duty rather than to sit with John Kerry. Great pictures, too.

This is how Kerry described his visit with the troops in Basra and Diyala province:

“Today was very informative and very helpful in crystallizing some of my thoughts insofar as what we can negotiate… and what needs to be accomplished,” Kerry told The Associated Press by telephone.

Negotiate? Negotiate with who? Al Qaida? The former Baathists? Iran? Syria?
Thank God this man is not leading our great country today.

Just more of the same for the traitor John Francois. The voters of Mass-of-two-sh!ts should be ashamed of this Senator, as well as the senior one.

UPDATE Jules e-mailed and corrected me. He works for the Boston Herald (not the Globe which is his sworn enemy). Tis truly red faced I am, Jules, and I have made the necessary corrections. Thanks for a great article.

I agree with your post, RP, but I do think you should properly spell the name of Massachusetts since I’m sure we have some readers from there and I know I wouldn’t want anyone to spell the name of my state that way. Politics is one thing, but condemning an entire state by degrading the name of said state should be off-limits, IMO.

  2. Republicanpundit Says:

Jeanette, Probably right, however, they keep electing them.

    :d:d

I apologize to any conservatives who may be from Massachusetts, if there are any!!!

If there are any conservatives in Massachusetts, having their state maligned is really the least of their worries.

    RP…

You know…I think John Kerry is so ‘figured-out’ even by the people he ‘hangs’ with…

I really believe he’s searching for ’something’…anything to give him some credibility…

Everyone from Politians to Hollywood–even to his own Ski Crowd bunch think he’s a joke…

    Poor ol’ John…He’s a victim…

  5. Republicanpundit Says:

    Sir.

He is a legend in his own mind.

Comment by Jeanette — December 17,

Even if the denizens of said state willingly accept “gay” marriage?

  7. Republicanpundit Says:

IP. One has to blame the voters of that state for continuing to send clowns to the Senate.

    Send in the Clowns.

  8. Jeanette Says:

Probably true, IP, but didn’t the state Supreme Court or whatever it calls itself mandate that law?

I don’t care what anyone calls the state. Since no one has objected I’m not going to worry about it. My objective is to maintain the integrity of our site.

More importantly, niether of the two sterling Senator’s spoke out against the ruling.

    Jeanette

Yes they did, but the voters seemed to accept that without a wimper, or demand for a vote on the issue.

  12. Caleb Says:

Rp - You are absolutely right in the name of the state. I live just next door and I can attest to the correctness. As for the gay marriage thing, the legislature had a chance to pass a bill in the form of a constitutional ammendment to be sent to the people to vote on AFTER the court ruling, it was defeated in the legislature. Romney tried everything, no dice. As for whether you would offend anyone in Mass with your spelling of the state name, you ought to hear what the state residents call it. The people have invaded the southern one-third of New Hampshire to get away from the taxes, but they bring their hen house ways and their voting habits with them. They are ruining our state. If you were to spend a few hours around Harvard, or MIT, or Brown, or Amherst, or any of the colleges, you would want to emigrate to some country that had some morals, responsibility, and common sense. I truly believe that Karl Marx and Lenin would disown the people of Mass. Castro and Chavez are their current heroes. Oh, and I won’t even go into the absolute insanity they have inflicted on members of our military or anyone associated with the ROTC.

John Kerry Meets Soldiers in Iraq

Obviously, he didn’t study hard enough.
BAGHDAD, Iraq - Sen. John Kerry said meeting with American and British troops in
Iraq on Saturday helped clear his thoughts about what needs to be done to stabilize the country and he looked forward to hear…
