Support the troops
While in the airport yesterday, I di my best to ignore the Communist News Network, purveyor of jihadist snuff films, blaring in all waiting areas. Of course it was chock full of Democrat ads and gleeful predictions of Democrat tidal waves. (But it’s easy to tune out noise when you have a good Star Wars novel to read.)
Liberals sometimes snark, “if you love the war so much, go join the army!” Which of course totally misses the point. I don’t love the war (no man in his right mind does) but I love, respect and remain in awe of our soldiers. So how do I do my part to support the troops?
Make sure the Congress stay in the hands of those who won’t crap all over everything they’ve achieved. It’s that simple.
I’m home sick today, so I can chose my times to vote early and vote often…oops, wait. I’m not a Chicago Dem.
Final call: we hold both chambers.
Have fun and see you tonight, whether it’s for the victory dance or for the crow eating. (The former, of course!)

My Prediction: GOP Holds Both Houses
I know that almost no one agrees with me, but I am very certain about the Senate, and I think while the dems may pick up some seats, they will not get the 15 they need to take over.
