The Captain Has A Prediction

About media self-restraint:

I think we can expect to see the networks casting aside their vows of obedience by 6 pm ET, with veiled allusions to the exit polling as it hits the wires. It will be up to voters to recall the abysmal data that first came out of the exit polls in 2004 and give them the credence they deserve.

Don’t believe them. Wait until all the results are counted. And if you live west of the Eastern Media enclaves - GO VOTE - don’t believe them! They’ve lied to you before and they will lie to you again. Count on it. All the press has been doing for months is tampering with republican turnout. They won’t resist the opportunity to do it again.

Liberal bias - what liberal bias….

I go to a large church in the San Fernando VAlley. (10,000 members)
Each person I mention voting on Tuesday to says the same thing: “Oh, you don’t need to remind me; there is way too much at stake to let the Democrats win”

SO, even though we live in a crazy liberal state, the evangelical base out here is fired up and ready to vote. Not one person I’ve talked to is going to stay home in protest; in fact, just the opposite. They can’t even wait to hit the voting booth Tuesday morning. I think that the pollsters have been way off in their predictions. GOP maintains the Senate and the House. I haven’t been worried at all. I have to have faith in my countrymen (and women!) and I know that NO ONE wants to have Nancy Pelosi as Speaker of the House. Just no way!

    That’s good to hear, Cali!

If the media thinks that Ted HAggart will depress the Christian vote, they’re sadly mistaken!

It’s hilarious in the WaPoo today they talk about a Presbyterian coming out for dems - and they call him an evangelical - that’s how pathetic the dems understanding of evangelical is…

PC(USA) is not evangelical - it’s a liberal church, pro gay marriage and anti-war.

    They don’t have a clue.

Exit polling will mean nothing. My bet is that most of the early voting has been from Republicans so all that’s left for the biased little worms to poll is Dems. Plus, they probably poll during the day when kids are in school and they won’t get a representative sample.

The only reason to hold up releasing the exit polling is so that they don’t look STUPID yet again.
