Violence With A Purpose
Scott at Environmental Republican has an answer for why there is currently so much violence in Iraq.
Uh-huh. Sounds about right to me.

Kathy…
This is a good article…
I think it’s also important for folks to understand that the Democrat Party’s ‘Worldview’ is nearly identical to that of Europe, as a whole (EU)…
It is a ‘Worldview’ that has been mastered and manipulated by Radical Factions–Radical Islam…the Ahmadinejad’s & the Muqtada al-Sadr’s of the world…
They’re used to getting their way…
They DID get their way from 1993 to 2001…
I don’t think they like the GOP very much…

No need to read the artricle. The violence in Iraq was stepped up this month to help the democrats win the election. The terrorists know they will then be able to kill worldwide without fear.

I see Jeanette’s senator, Lindsey Graham, says Iraq is “near chaos”. Well, yeah, but I don’t get it. Before us, the Iraqi people were repressed and terrorized. Could chaos be the birth pains of freedom?

Good question, davidm.
Democracy by nature is messy.

[…] Hat Tip to Kathy at Hang Right Politics Nervous politicians facing reelection in a tough year for the GOP have given in to the pressure and turned their backs on the war in Iraq. 86 US troops have died this month and it will most likely reach 100 before the month is out. It is easy to say that it is a wrong war for political advantage but have any of these pols taken a step back and looked at what is happening. The enemy knows how to play our media. They know how to get the media to report only the bad. They know how to turn public opinion. […]

“”Could chaos be the birth pains of freedom?”"…
“”Democracy by nature is messy.”"…
Yes, and Yes…
Also important to Note:
The Democrats & most of the rest of the World talk about ‘Peace’ in Iraq…
President Bush and (most) Republicans speak of ‘Liberty and Freedom, and Democracy’ in Iraq…
There is a World(view) of difference, even in the ‘Terminology’…
And…it’s enough difference for davidm to say:
“Before us, the Iraqi people were repressed and terrorized.”
Conservatives ‘get it’…
Liberals ‘do not’…

The media are being treasonous, just like they were in 19 late 60’s. They cause this country to lose a war in Vietnam, and they are trying to do this again.

David, I assure you I am fully aware of the mistake I made in voting for Graham. I intend to rectify that mistake in the primary two years from now and harrass his office as much as possible until then.
OT: If anyone has sent an email to me I can read it but for some reason other IPs won’t take the Hilton IP address and all outgoing emails from my personal or Gmail accounts are bouncing back. I plan to be home Thursday and will send a note to you all then.

You will soon be home and you can put your sorrow behind you, after a time. My prayers.
