CNN Is An Absolute DISGRACE
I heard Rush Limbaugh talk about this on Friday and I’m absolutely appalled. Here’s a partial transcript of Rush’s remarks:
RUSH: Stand by audio sound bites nine, ten, and 11. I don’t know how many of you have seen this. CNN is airing video footage that is disgusting. It’s terrorist propaganda, essentially. It is videotape which shows snipers in Iraq killing American servicemen. Now, we can’t see the video of 9/11, because we don’t have the mental toughness. “It’s too soon. It’s too traumatic.” We can’t see that again on the news. We can’t see pictures of Americans, innocent Americans jumping from the higher floors of the World Trade Center, committing suicide to avoid burning to death.
No, no, no, we can’t see that, but we can see videotape on CNN of US soldiers being shot by snipers in Iraq. Now, CNN’s not entirely insensitive. They do fade to black before the moment of impact when the soldier dies. I wonder if terrorists were taking sniper type potshots at journalists running around, CNN would find that newsworthy. “A CNN executive said Thursday the network’s effort to present the unvarnished truth.” Let’s face it, CNN, the “unvarnished truth” to you is not the unvarnished truth of reality. The unvarnished truth that is CNN’s is that America sucks, that America is to blame, America deserves to lose.

Could someone point out the journalistic value in broadcasting a “snuff film” supplied to CNN by “an insurgent leader” in Iraq? Apparently, CNN and Anderson Cooper, in a blatant attempt to negatively affect the election, think this tape has merit.
It’s well past time to put the Crescent News Network out of business. This nakedly partisan attempt should serve to push the networks ratings well below those of MSNBC (if that’s even possible) and,
hopefully, off the air.
Update: Rep. Duncan Hunter, the chairman of the House Armed Services Committee, got it right. when he said CNN had become “the publicist for an enemy propaganda film.”
Rep. Duncan Hunter (R-El Cajon) called for the Pentagon to oust any CNN reporter embedded with U.S. troops in Iraq. “I think Americans like to think we’re all in this together,” Hunter said. “The average American Marine or soldier has concluded after seeing that film that CNN is not on their side.” (emphasis added)
Ain’t that the truth?

And yet the world watches CNN - in every hotel - in every country that has cable.
I was trapped in the executive lounge with Lou Dobbs the other night doing a campaign commercial for NC-8’s democrat.
Today they are airing a segment on themselves… should we have done it…
If you have to ask…
I went out on the balcony for my breakfast - if their was a tv I might have been forced to jump.
CNN tells the world - here’s the reason we hate America - you hate’em too.

I offered to pay the cable bill for my Parents-in-law if I could notch filter CNN, so they could not watch it.
They refused.
they would rather be lied to.

The American people have a choice:

B) Surrender our Nation…this Land, stained with the Blood of our Forefathers…to a Vile, Godless, Gutless…and already Defeated, Worldview

That’s my point above…
This isn’t like the ‘Cookie’ isle or the ‘Cereal’ isle in a grocery store…
There are only TWO choices this November…
And, for those people (some closer related than others) who like to spout, “…there isn’t a dime’s worth of difference between Republicans and Demorcats”…
Well, I say…
Wake-up and smell the coffee…
The difference between the GOP and the DNC is a difference between …
“Life” & “Death”…It’s that simple…
And, I believe the majority of Americans will choose to “Life”…

BTW…I agree with Rep. Duncan Hunter…
It’s one thing for The History Channel to air old (captured and recovered) WWII Japanese or German Film Footage of US Troops being killed…
But…If CNN had been around during WWII and if they had done something like this…
We would be watching…

You have to make sure the hotel you are in carries Fox News too. I won’t go to a hotel that doesn’t.
