Breaking News: Democrats Support Our [Canadian] Troops
Question: What’s wrong with this picture?
Answer: Nothing except the soldiers depicted are Canadian NOT American.
Captain’s Quarters and Michelle Malkin have two fantastic posts on the Democrats latest ineptness when it comes to our military. CQ and Charles at LGF (who also does a great job on this story) include the original photograph, prior to photoshopping, of this brave Canadian young man. Please click the links listed because they do far more justice to story than I could.
CQ has the best quote for this foul-up:
If the Democrats can’t tell the difference between American troops and foreign soldiers, perhaps we have to wonder whether their support means much in any circumstance. We certainly have to wonder whether a political party so out of touch with the greatest military force in human history has any business leading it. However, if they wanted to just show a little love to the excellent men and women in the Canadian Army, I’m on board.
We’ve GOT to get this information to the RNC. ![]()

Wait a minute! The original picture had an insignia on the beret that clearly shows it is not American. Therefore, the Dems either deliberately photo shopped it to make it appear American to the casual observer, or were sold a bill of goods and didn’t know it themselves. Either way it’s pretty pathetic. Dumb asses!

I understand, IP. But it’s the military families (and military suppoters) that I really want to reach. To paraphrase CQ, if the Democrats can’t tell the difference between American troops and foreign soldiers, why should we trust them to lead?

You could only hope your troops were as well trained as the canadians

Trained for what? To run as fast as they can?
