A Special Tribute - Stephen Lauria

Stephen James Lauria

Stephen James Lauria, 39, project manager for Marsh & McLennan, died in the WTC attack of September 11, 2001. Please read the very touching eulogy for him from February 12, 2002. Here’s one that tells you a lot about the kind of man he was:

Stephen was cheerful, loving, tolerant, helpful, compassionate and sympathetic. He harnessed what was good and filtered out what was harmful. In his college days, he appeared to be guided and influenced by the phrase, “good morals like good art begin by drawing the line.”

Like the thousands of others who perished with him, Mr. Lauria was taken too soon by evil men. You especially get this feeling when reading how his presence filled so many other’s lives with joy.

May God bless and keep him, his family, and the thousands of others whose loved ones went to work and never came home that horrible day.

Very touching. I think there are nearly 3000 other stories out there. These people murdered on 9/11 were just ordinary human beings going about their lives. May they all rest in peace.
