Finally A Word About Fox Reporters

Report: Palestinian Group Claims Kidnapping of Journalists

It’s not necessarily good news because little is known about this organization and Steve Centanni and Olaf Wiig have been held longer than any other organization. The organization is demanding that the U.S. release Muslim prisoners within 72 hours in exchange for the release of the Fox reporters. The U.S. will never negotiate with terrorists.

Stay tuned.

Fox has kept this low-key in order to save their lives. With this new terrorist organization who knows what will happen? I guess it’s one of the risks a reporter takes when taking an assignment in that part of the world.

I’ve been reading the Jill Carroll story in the Christian Science Monitor and I can only imagine the fear going through the minds of these two innocent civilians caught up in a war of two cultures. One civilized—the other barbaric. May God be with them both.

A few days ago Fox started reporting on the two with every newscast though it is admittedly low key. This is very very strange. When an organization like this makes demands of the U.S. government, it’s never a good sign.

My local paper is carrying the Jill Carroll story, but we stopped the paper when we went up to the mountains. I’ll try to read it on line.

I’m afraid for those guys. I pray they get home safely.[-o<
