Eliyahu Asheri Executed.
Confirmation, via the Jerusalem Post:
“IDF combat engineers and Shin Bet agents, acting on intelligence, found Asheri’s body Wednesday night in an abandoned car in an open field outside of Ramallah. The youth appeared to have been shot to death, and initial findings indicated that he may have been killed as early as Sunday.
Asheri’s family has been notified.
Rabbi Haim Druckman, Asheri’s grandfather, said he first heard of his disappearance Tuesday.
Druckman described Asheri as “a great kid, very responsible, very serious and sensitive… He was at his greatest, blossoming and very happy.”

May his soul rest in peace. And may God have mercy on the Palestinians, because the Israelis certainly will not.
Update: Meanwhile, the BBC, in perfect illustration of the left’s inability to competently face the reality of our enemies, has decided to reject calls by an independent panel for them to use the word “terrorist” to describe attacks on Israeli civilians. Via the Jerusalem Post: BBC rejects call to change terminology.
According to the BBC, the premeditated abduction and cold-blooded murder of an eighteen year old Israeli civilian is not an act of terrorism. What say you?

How terribly sad. This will not have the desired effect – palestinians must want to die.

Animals.
What more can be said?
Here’s a pig for them.

They’re as bad as the barbarians in Iraq, and why not? They come from the same bloodline and I don’t mean the common bloodline of Abraham, but that of Ishmael.
Pig is too good a term for them. May God rest this handsome young man’s soul.

I look at that picture and it breaks my heart. He’s just a kid. Or was. But the Israelis are rounding up Hamas leaders now. They will pay dearly for this and the kidnapping of the soldier.
June 28th, 2006 at 10:12 pm
That’s what I like about the Israelis. Nice guy when they have to be and no more Mr. Nice Guy when the bad guys start showing off.

Report: Hamas Backed Group Murders Israeli Teen!
If this is true, and the teenager has been in fact murdered then Israel has no choice but to completely destroy and dissolve the Hamas lead government. Since Hamas has not stopped supporting terrorism they have forfeited their right to govern.

Just say no to a Palestinian state. The two state theory has imploded.
June 28th, 2006 at 10:58 pm
Drudge is also reporting that militants are claiming to have fired a chemical warhead into Israel. I take this news with a bit of skepticism, since I’m sure Palestinian propagandists are out en masse trying to appear strong in the face of the overwhelming IDF force. However, if it turns out to be true, the Palestinians may have just sealed their fate. If a WMD has been used against Israel, not even the strongest urging of America and Europe will stop Israel from a response necessarily extraordinary in its devastation. And while I can’t speak for our “friends” in Europe, I would frankly be surprised if we wouldn’t totally support Israel’s decision.
In any event, if the report is true, say good-bye to active support at “peace” rallies for Palestinians. There won’t be any Palestinians left.

Hell hath no fury that matches the Israeli’s when they intent on revenge.
They don’t worry about what the MSM says about them.
As I said last night, we could learn a lot from the Jews.

Jeanette, it would have been better if Abraham had never slept with his slavegirl. It has caused 2000 years of fighting.
I don’t believe that this is the Armageddon which Revelations talk about, but the Palastinions will think it is.
If someone announced that they fired a chemical weapon at the U.S., I would expect that missiles would already be heading their way to annialate them. I don’t expect Isreal to do less.
I understand they need to add a new parking lot, now is the time to add a glass one.

As COgirl reminded us earlier, the Israelis are the survivors and families of survivors of the Holocaust.
They went along peacefully in WWII under Hitler and see what happened to them. They vowed never again and they mean it. They will never allow anyone to try to annihilate them without taking them down with them.
God bless em.

If they fired WMD at Israel and we don’t defend Israel’s reaction to it I will be one unhappy American. I understand diplomacy, but we don’t have to be too harsh in our statement and we can give them behind-the-scenes support and help if necessary. They are our only true friends in the Mid-East and I would go over there and shoot for them if they could get me to ride on something with these bum knees I have and I’d need air conditioning. Getting hot and sweaty just makes me grumpy. On the other hand that might not be so bad.
June 28th, 2006 at 11:22 pm
Let’s figure this out. They’re in tight with Syria and they have WMD. Hmmm. We’ve thought (at least some of us have thought) Saddam sent his WMDs to Syria for safekeeping. Are we connecting the dots here?
June 28th, 2006 at 11:30 pm
I don’t think we have to worry too much about America not supporting any Israeli response to a WMD attack. President Bush has always been unequivocally on the side of the Israelis, and while he has directed much energy into a two-state solution, we can always count on a man like George W. Bush to be a man and stand up for what is right.
I fully expect a statement of support for the Israelis by Nancy Pelosi and Co. anytime now. What? Too busy with a press conference condemning Tom Delay? You don’t say…
Well, I’m sure it would be different if they were in power.
June 28th, 2006 at 11:34 pm
Interesting point, Jeanette. If the chemical weapon attack turns out to be true, I think a lot of us will begin connecting the dots.

Eliyahu Asheri
Who are we?
Whom have we lost?
How much of our day-to-day life will be altered by the suffering of innocents?

I am so sad…terribly sad. What a beautiful young boy. I was just thinking, didn’t we just have a couple of our soldiers mutilated in Iraq and they came home to their families in PIECES (well, practically). Am I wrong, or didn’t we just accept it as a part of war? Sometimes I wonder why we don’t retaliate a little stronger, like the Israeli’s will do. Jeanette, maybe the US needs a few grumpy people to help out. Nice is good, diplomacy and strategic planning are good, but there comes a time when somebody needs to really get mad, let it show and let it rip.

These have got to be the stupidest people on earth.
Jerusalem Post reports as of 20 minutes ago that 60 Hamas officials have been rounded up and arrested. It’s morning there now.

Hey,
This is a great site. I’m a pollipundit guy and I see that some of you visit from time to time.
Did anyone here: The French strike again!
They expressed outrage over Israel arresting their Hamas friends. Keep in mind the Israeli soldier is a French citizen. Go figure!
June 29th, 2006 at 9:05 am
Thanks for visiting, Daniel. I just woke up (I’m 2 hours earlier than the clock shows since I’m in MDT) so I’ll look for an article about that and post it.
Please check back again.

Daniel, do you have a link?

Co Girl,
Sorry I’ve been out today.
The link about the French idiots is from the
