Zarqawi’s Death Reaps Huge Rewards

More bad news for the Liberal Left. It seems the killing of Zarqawi was more helpful than we could have imagined:

Iraq’s national security adviser said Thursday a “huge treasure” of documents and computer records was seized after the raid on terror leader Abu Musab al-Zarqawi’s hideout, giving the Iraqi government the upper hand in its fight against al-Qaida in Iraq.

National Security Adviser Mouwafak al-Rubaie also said he believed the security situation in the country would improve enough to allow a large number of U.S.-led forces to leave Iraq by the end of this year, and a majority to depart by the end of next year. “And maybe the last soldier will leave Iraq by mid-2008,” he said.

Since the al Qaeda in Iraq leader’s death, American and Iraqi forces have carried out 452 raids, killing 104 insurgents.

So how will the “cut and run” crowd handle that news?

How have they handled every step forward in Iraq? By acting like it’s two steps back. :-w

I imagine their collective talking points will go something like:

“No end in sight, no end in sight! No progress, no plan! Sure, they killed Zarqawi, but he has already been replaced and more violence is promised by the insurgents! Oh–and no WMDs! Lies, lies!”

Nothing new. Just a bit more garbage to try to negate the success of killing Zarqawi. Those admirable Democrats.

Rory, Falcon, it’s just that Baghdad Bob is advising democrats on propaganda.[-(

Hey at least there’s some “good news” for the Dems/MSM today, we hit our 2500th death in Iraq. So at least they’ll have something to smile about. The sad part is I’m not being sarcastic at all. Sad indeed.
